Prince Harry has issued his first public statement following reports that Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, left him in tears during her appearance at Trooping the Colour, saying “It is truly inspirational.” The Duke of Sussex took to his and Meghan Markle’s website to release his first public statement, which coincided with Armed Forces Day. In his statement, Prince Harry praised the Princess of Wales, highlighting the emotional impact of her presence.

To mark Armed Forces Day, Prince Harry and Nikki Scott, founder of Scotty’s Little Soldiers, participated in a recorded conversation. Scotty’s Little Soldiers is a charity dedicated to supporting bereaved British Forces children, and Prince Harry serves as its Global Ambassador. In the discussion, Harry expressed his deep admiration for the resilience and strength of military families.

The New Idea, citing an insider claimed, “Seeing Kate back on the balcony at Trooping the Colour was incredibly emotional for Harry. He was so relieved.” However, the source claimed the future queen’s recent statement where she admitted that she is “not out of the woods yet”, hit Prince Harry hard.

Expressing his admiration for Nikki’s work, Harry remarked, “What you’ve done is incredible. It is truly inspirational. I’m really honoured and privileged to be part of Scotty’s now and I really look forward to us doing everything we can to bring in more people, more interest, raise more funds and be able to get the message out there to get more kids the support they so desperately need.”

During the conversation, Prince Harry shared his reflections on the significance of the day and his personal connections to the armed forces. He spoke about the importance of recognizing and honoring the sacrifices made by service members and their families, emphasizing the vital role that organizations like Scotty’s Little Soldiers play in providing support.

In his statement, Harry said, “Armed Forces Day is an opportunity to show appreciation for the selfless service and dedication of our military personnel. It is a day to remember those who have given so much for our country and to support the families who continue to carry their legacy forward.”

The statement and conversation with Nikki Scott highlighted Harry’s ongoing commitment to military causes and his personal mission to raise awareness and support for the children of fallen service members. As Global Ambassador for Scotty’s Little Soldiers, Harry has been actively involved in various initiatives to bring attention to the needs of these families and ensure they receive the necessary resources and care.

Prince Harry’s acknowledgment of Princess Kate’s appearance at Trooping the Colour as “truly inspirational” adds a poignant note to the day’s commemorations. The Trooping the Colour event, a traditional celebration of the British monarch’s official birthday, holds significant meaning for the royal family and the nation.

As the royal family continues to navigate public and private challenges, moments of unity and mutual respect like this serve as reminders of their shared dedication to public service and the values they uphold. Harry’s statement underscores the importance of coming together to honor those who serve and to find inspiration in acts of resilience and grace.
