Princess Kate made a stunning appearance in Southport recently, where she “captured attention without being overly formal,” according to jewelry expert Eddie LeVian. LeVian, head of the celebrity jewelry brand Le Vian, praised the Princess of Wales’ choice of accessories, particularly her £165 gold earrings from the brand Zoraida, during an interview with GB News.
LeVian shared his thoughts on Kate’s chic and understated style, emphasizing how her choice of gold earrings made a statement without being excessive. “The bold gold serves multiple ways to show luxury,” he explained. “First of all, gold has taken on a different level of value with the stratospheric prices that nobody thought we would achieve so quickly. But at the same time, it’s very wearable for every day, and so it’s very suitable for someone who wants to make a statement but not be overdressed.”
LeVian also highlighted how Kate’s decision to wear gold was appropriate for daytime. “To choose gold, they could have something that catches the eye, but it’s appropriate for daytime,” he noted, commending her balance of elegance and accessibility.
This isn’t the first time the Princess has turned heads with her striking gold jewelry. At Wimbledon earlier this year, she wore Sabine Hoop Earrings from the brand “By Pariah” during the Men’s Singles Final. The earrings, described as “a sculptural interpretation of literal forms steeped in luxury,” sold out quickly following her appearance at Centre Court.
Kate’s recent appearance in Southport marked her first official public engagement since undergoing a preventative chemotherapy regimen, which she began in March. By September, she had completed the treatment and shared her excitement about returning to her royal duties.
The Princess’ first engagements following her recovery were private meetings, which were later listed in The Court Circular. Kensington Palace also released touching photographs of Kate meeting with a young cancer patient at Windsor Castle.
On Thursday, she and Prince William met with families affected by recent stabbings in Southport, marking her return to public life in a graceful yet impactful way, capturing admiration for both her style and compassion.
