When asked if the royal family has unique nicknames, Tindall, a former English rugby player, didn’t hold back. “For the Prince of Wales, he is known as One Pint Willy,” he shared. “He is known to me as One Pint Willy because he is not the best of drinkers. Coming from a sport built on social drinking, we’re used to a few beers here and there. That’s one I will definitely give away,” Tindall added with a laugh, according to The Irish Star.
Realizing the potential implications, Tindall quickly backtracked, laughing and saying, “Oh my god, it’s out there now. Sorry, sir.” His wife, Zara Tindall, who is William’s cousin, joined in with a chuckle, saying, “Oh my god. You are in so much trouble,” according to BBC.
