According to Daily Mail, Amid ongoing discussions about his eventual ascension to the throne, Prince William has snagged a rather unexpected title before officially becoming king. For the second consecutive year, he’s been crowned as the ‘world’s sexiest bald man,’ outshining Hollywood icons like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Vin Diesel. This honor comes courtesy of a study by digital PR firm Reboot Online, which assessed famous bald men across multiple factors to determine the 2024 titleholder. Once again, William took the top spot.
According to the Mirror, the study emphasized the appeal of bald men worldwide, noting, “Bald men have stolen the hearts of millions of people around the world, from Stanley Tucci to Zinedine Zidane to John Travolta. We’ve conducted scientific research and crunched the numbers to officially crown the Sexiest Bald Man for 2024.”
The firm added, “The heir apparent to the British throne was considered a heartthrob in his younger years, but if our study is anything to go by, he still has sex appeal today.” The data highlighted William’s popularity, with an impressive 16,800 annual Google searches pairing “Prince William” with terms like “shirtless” and “naked,” suggesting a strong public interest.
The digital firm’s analysis factored in criteria like the golden ratio, smile appeal, cranial shine, vocal charm, public image, and height, rating William with a near-perfect score of 9.9 out of 10. His smooth, shiny scalp scored a remarkable 74% luminance rating, while his facial structure earned a 72% on the golden ratio scale. Dwayne Johnson placed second, scoring 8.9 out of 10, while NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal claimed third place, followed by surfer Kelly Slater and actor Terry Crews, rounding out the top five.
Interestingly, while Prince William took the first-place title this year and in 2021, he had slipped to fifth in 2022. William’s recent rugged, bearded look has gained widespread admiration, except from one person—his nine-year-old daughter, Princess Charlotte. The beard apparently distressed her so much that she was brought to tears, prompting her father to quickly shave it off to restore her spirits.
Over the weekend, William also made headlines with a touching gesture toward his wife, Kate Middleton, who recently made her first major public appearance after finishing chemotherapy. Observers on social media quickly noticed the couple’s affectionate bond, which body language expert Judi James described as a sign of their close connection.
