Meghan Markle is under mounting pressure from her Netflix bosses, compounded by a personal tragedy and Prince Harry’s refusal to delay his plans to travel to the UK next month. The Duchess of Sussex, who had ambitious plans for the year, faces another setback as she recovers from last year’s financial challenges and copes with the recent loss of a beloved pet.

The couple, bound by a multi-million-dollar contract with Netflix, has faced scrutiny for delivering hits. However, Prince Harry’s recent project, Polo, has not performed as expected, leaving Meghan and Harry in a difficult position.

According to a source, the Sussexes remain “hopeful” that Polo will “gather momentum and prove the critics wrong,” but the project has so far been a “nightmare.” The source told InTouch Weekly that Netflix bosses are reportedly unhappy with their content, adding stress to the couple’s already challenging circumstances.

“They tried so hard to give the network what they wanted, and that was more of a reality show feel than they initially envisioned,” the insider revealed. While Harry and Meghan believe the content “hits that target but also has a lot of heart and depth,” the final judgment lies with Netflix executives, and it’s “not looking good.”

The timing couldn’t be worse for Meghan, who recently announced the loss of her beloved pet, adopted in 2015. She shared the heartbreaking news on her newly launched Instagram account, which has already gained significant attention.

“To hear these horrible rumors coming out that their deal might be at risk because the network isn’t happy is incredibly upsetting,” the source said. “They’ve got very high expenses and massive plans to expand even further, so the last thing they need is to lose their deal at Netflix. It would be such a disaster.”

Meanwhile, Prince Harry is preparing to travel to the UK for his ongoing legal battle against a British tabloid. His trip comes at a tense time for the couple, as Meghan navigates both personal and professional challenges.

With eyes now focused on Meghan’s upcoming Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, the stakes are higher than ever for the Sussexes as they work to secure their future in the entertainment industry amid mounting pressures and personal losses.
