"She Has Far More Important Things to Do": Meghan Markle Rejects Kate Middleton’s Apology Demand

Meghan Markle has no plans to offer an apology to Kate Middleton and reportedly thinks the Princess of Wales should be the one saying sorry.

According to Heat Magazine, the Duchess of Sussex dismissed Kate’s alleged request for a reconciliation, saying she has “far more important” things to worry about than the demands of her royal sister-in-law.

A royal insider told the outlet that Meghan is not interested in any sort of peace talks with Kate, especially under the current circumstances. “The possibility of Meghan travelling to the UK to speak to Kate is a long way off,” the source explained.

“She has far too many more important things to be getting on with, and thinks it’s Kate who should be extending the olive branch,” the insider added.

The tension between the two royal women has remained a focal point of public interest ever since Meghan and Prince Harry stepped down from royal duties in 2020. The rift deepened following explosive interviews and the release of Harry’s memoir Spare, which detailed strained relationships with both his brother Prince William and sister-in-law Kate.

The new report suggests that Kate has made it clear she would require a “very genuine apology” from Meghan before considering any form of reconciliation. Additionally, the Princess of Wales reportedly insisted that “multiple witnesses” be present should the two ever decide to have a conversation.

Despite Kate’s condition for peace talks, Meghan appears unfazed, maintaining that any apology should come from the other side. The Duchess reportedly feels unfairly vilified by the royal institution and believes she has been the one more wronged in their strained relationship.

With both sides standing firm, the possibility of mending the fractured bond between the two royal couples remains slim. Meghan and Harry continue to focus on their life in California, where they are involved in philanthropic work and growing their brand under the Archewell Foundation.

Meanwhile, Kate, who is undergoing cancer treatment, has maintained a low public profile in recent months, with palace insiders emphasizing her focus on recovery and family.

As tensions persist, it seems unlikely either woman will be issuing the apology the other is waiting for anytime soon.
