Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have officially renewed their content deal with Netflix, solidifying their ongoing collaboration through Archewell Productions.
Announced on August 11, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s new agreement marks a multi-year, first-look deal for film and television projects. The renewal comes as a surprise to many, following widespread reports last month suggesting Netflix would not extend the pair’s current deal set to expire in September amid a shift away from large multi-project agreements.
In a statement, Meghan expressed her excitement about the continued partnership: “We’re proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As ever brand.” She added, “My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision.”
Netflix’s Chief Content Officer, Bela Bajaria, praised the Sussexes’ creative impact, calling them “influential voices whose stories resonate with audiences everywhere.” She highlighted the success of their past work, noting, “Harry & Meghan gave viewers an intimate look into their lives and quickly became one of our most-watched documentary series.

More recently, fans have been inspired by With Love, Meghan, with products from the new As ever line consistently selling out in record time. We’re excited to continue our partnership with Archewell Productions and to entertain our members together.”
As part of the renewed deal, several new projects have been confirmed. Meghan’s lifestyle series With Love, Meghan will return for another season, accompanied by a holiday special set for release in December. Another upcoming project, Masaka Kids: A Rhythm Within, will spotlight the lives of orphans in an HIV/AIDS-affected community, blending personal storytelling with cultural celebration.
Additionally, the couple is developing a screen adaptation of Carley Fortune’s best-selling novel Meet Me At The Lake, a romantic drama expected to draw strong viewer interest.
Prince Harry and Meghan initially signed a five-year deal with Netflix in 2020, shortly after stepping down as senior working royals and relocating to Montecito, California. Their first slate of projects included the hit docuseries Harry & Meghan, which became one of Netflix’s most-watched titles, and other documentary and lifestyle programming that reinforced their brand’s global appeal.
With the renewed agreement, the Sussexes aim to further expand their storytelling portfolio, blending entertainment with messages of social impact.
