Taylor Swift kicked off the final leg of her Eras Tour with a spectacular performance at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, on Friday, despite the pouring rain. According to the Daily Mail, the wet weather did little to dampen the enthusiasm of the 61,000 fans in attendance, as Swift delivered a powerful, three-hour concert that left the audience buzzing with excitement.
The Love Story singer debuted four new outfits for this leg of the tour, but the night’s highlight came when she brought out a special guest, Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine, for a surprise duet. The pair performed Florida, a song from Swift’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department. Fans were thrilled by the collaboration, which added even more magic to an already unforgettable evening.
Swift made her entrance alongside Welch, both donning stunning white dresses. Swift’s custom Vivienne Westwood high-low skirt featured the playful message, “Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me? You Should Be,” written across the puffy bottom half. Welch complimented Swift’s look with her own ethereal white gown adorned with black lace accents.
Although the crowd was hoping to see Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, at the show, the football star was absent due to practice commitments ahead of Sunday’s big game in San Francisco. However, other members of Kelce’s family were spotted in the audience, showing support for the pop icon.
The Miami performance marks the beginning of Swift’s final shows for the Eras Tour, and it certainly set a high bar for what’s to come. Despite the challenging weather, Swift proved once again why she’s one of the most beloved performers in the world, delivering a concert filled with emotional performances, dazzling visuals, and, of course, unforgettable guest appearances.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the next two shows at Hard Rock Stadium, knowing that Swift has a knack for keeping her concerts fresh and full of surprises. The collaboration with Welch was just one of many memorable moments from the night, leaving fans buzzing long after the final note was sung.
