Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have decided to sell their shared Los Angeles mansion, listing the expansive Beverly Hills property for $68 million on Thursday, July 11, amid rumors of a possible split.

“They decided to list the house very recently, within the last week,” a source told Us Weekly. “They thought they could sell it off-market but made a game-time decision in order to put more eyes on the property.” The insider added that Affleck and Lopez are “in a rush to sell” and the Air director “especially wants to be done with the house. He was never happy there.”

“Ben and Jen never felt settled” in the “incredibly huge house” in Beverly Hills, which spans 38,000 square feet and boasts 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms. The source continued, “They rarely have all the kids there at once, so it felt huge for the two of them.”

Rumors of a possible split between the couple began circulating in May when reports suggested the pair had been “having issues” in their marriage. Despite the growing speculations, neither Affleck nor Lopez has commented on the matter.

The decision to list the mansion appears to be a significant move for the couple, who have been under public scrutiny regarding the stability of their relationship. By opting to put the house on the market, they may be signaling a desire to move on from this chapter of their lives.

Affleck and Lopez’s choice to list the property publicly rather than off-market indicates their urgency to sell. The massive Beverly Hills estate, while luxurious, seems to have been too large for their needs, especially when considering their blended family dynamics.

While the public eagerly awaits any official statements from Affleck or Lopez, the listing of their mansion adds fuel to the rumors of their possible separation. As they move forward with selling the property, fans and observers alike will be watching closely for any further developments in their personal lives.

For now, the focus remains on the sale of their mansion, a property that, despite its grandeur, never felt like home to the famous couple. Whether this move signifies the end of their relationship or simply a step towards finding a more suitable living arrangement, only time will tell.
