Blake Shelton is reportedly feeling uneasy about Gwen Stefani’s increasing closeness to her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale. According to a recent report by Life & Style, the British rocker and Stefani have grown closer due to their involvement in their son Kingston’s burgeoning career.
An insider shared with the outlet, “They’re talking and getting along well.” While this newfound harmony is a positive change for Stefani and Rossdale, it’s causing some discomfort for Shelton. The source explained, “It’s a nice change for them, but for Blake, it tugs at his insecurities.”
The insider elaborated on Shelton’s concerns, noting, “At one point, Gwen saw Gavin as the love of her life, so anytime they hang out for extended periods and laugh and get along better, it makes Blake worry.”
Despite his feelings, Shelton has managed to maintain a public facade of positivity. The source revealed, “He’s just trying to bite his lip, saying publicly he’s glad it’s better, but it’s no secret Blake and Gavin hate each other.”
The source also remarked on the timing of Rossdale’s reappearance, “Right when Blake and Gwen are back on track and everything’s going well again, Gavin is breaking in.”
While Shelton may be putting on a brave face, it’s clear that the renewed connection between Stefani and Rossdale is stirring up old insecurities for the country star.
