It seems that Ben Affleck has become highly undesirable or toxic to both Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez, a new report claims. Most fans are aware that Ben’s highly publicized marriage to Jennifer Lopez was tumultuous from the beginning and has ultimately disintegrated. Moreover, it is claimed that the “Gone Girl” actor is now experiencing rejection from his former wife and mother of his children, Jennifer Garner.
Although Garner has been praised for maintaining a positive relationship with their three children, sources claim she is completely frustrated with her efforts to assist the 51-year-old actor in resolving his marital issues with Lopez. The actress known for her role in “Alias” has been accompanying Ben for several months as divorce rumors circulated.
The speculations gained further attention after the actor, known for his role as Batman, and the singer, known for her hit song “Let’s Get Loud,” listed their Beverly Hills property for sale. Ben relocated to a luxurious bachelor pad near Garner’s residence, costing $100,000 per month.
Garner, aged 52, was effectively acting as an unofficial marriage counselor for Ben, The Daily Mail reported. Insiders suggested her attempts to assist in resolving Ben’s failing marriage have even garnered admiration from Lopez, aged 55, who has declared that they “work well together.”
However, informants say Garner has chosen to maintain a certain level of separation, partly to ensure the well-being of her own romantic involvement with her 46-year-old partner, John Miller. “Jen’s always been a problem-solver, but Ben’s problems with J.Lo are beginning to cause tension with John, and that’s the last thing she wants,” a tipster spilled.
According to a mental health specialist interviewed by The National Enquirer, Garner’s compassionate demeanor can be attributed to her upbringing as a middle child in a high-achieving household, where she sought validation and acceptance. However, it seems she is feeling overwhelmed by Ben’s seemingly boundless need for assistance.
“Jen is in love with a stable businessman, her kids are becoming independent, and Ben’s constant chaos is regurgitating painful memories of their divorce. Moving away from Ben is a healthy move for her — and her relationship with Mr. Miller,” relationship coach Dr. Gilda Carle explained.
Garner’s current partner has allegedly become quite angry over the amount of time she has been spending with Ben, and sources suggest tensions reached a climax after Ben was spotted visiting his former wife’s residence in Los Angeles during the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
“John is tired of weekends and holidays he could be spending with Jen being taken up by her therapy sessions with Ben,” the insider stated. Additionally, sources claim that Garner agreed with John that she’s already gone above and beyond for Ben and it’s time to put an end to her freelance marriage counseling sessions.
