Demi Lovato is officially off the market. The 32-year-old singer tied the knot with her longtime love, Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, 34, in an intimate ceremony held in California on Sunday, May 25.
For her walk down the aisle, Lovato stunned in a custom “pearl white” Vivienne Westwood gown. The elegant dress featured a corset bodice and a dramatic cathedral-style tulle veil, perfectly capturing the romantic tone of the day.
“I have been a fan of Vivienne Westwood’s designs for a long time,” Lovato told Vogue. “When I was thinking about [what dress style I wanted], I often found myself coming back to Vivienne’s designs — specifically how the silhouettes really complement the curves in your body, and her use of corsets.” She added, “I love everything about the dress.”
The celebration continued with a second show-stopping look for the reception. Lovato changed into another Vivienne Westwood design — a sleek ivory silk satin column dress with a draped corset top and broken pearls cascading from the neckline. “It’s a one-of-a-kind piece that makes me feel so special,” she said.
The couple’s romance began in 2022 when they met during a writing session for Lovato’s album Holy Fvck. Their connection was instant, but they took their time moving forward. In December 2023, Lutes proposed in what was described as a “personal and intimate” moment in Los Angeles.
Leading up to their wedding, Lovato often shared her love for Lutes on social media. On Valentine’s Day, she posted a heartfelt tribute to him on Instagram. “Jordan, I cannot WAIT to marry you!! The past 3 years have been the best 3 years of my life and I have you to thank for that,” she wrote. “I’m obsessed with your heart, your love and your light. I can’t wait to grow old with you and start a family together.”
Back in October 2024, Lutes told PEOPLE they were taking their time with wedding planning. “We’re not trying to stress ourselves out… We’re just basking in it and soaking it up. We’ll be married forever. We just want to enjoy every step.” Lovato echoed that sentiment in a previous interview: “You know, I’ve waited my whole life for him.”
