Cassie Ventura took the stand in a federal court this week, delivering emotional and harrowing testimony against Sean “Diddy” Combs during the second day of his sex trafficking trial.

As the prosecution’s star witness, Cassie painted a deeply disturbing picture of the abuse she allegedly endured during her 10-year relationship with the music mogul. Speaking before the court on Tuesday, she detailed both physical violence and coercive sexual encounters.

“Yes, they were violent arguments, usually resulted in physical abuse and dragging, different things. He would mash my head, knock me over, drag me, kick me,” Cassie testified, as reported by NBC News.

She added that the assaults would often leave visible injuries: “Usually I would get knots on my forehead, black eyes, red eyes, bruises all over my body, it just depended.”

Cassie also recounted the now-infamous hotel hallway incident, a moment captured on video and widely circulated last year. She explained it took place after what Diddy called a “freak off” a term he allegedly used to describe sexual encounters involving Cassie and escorts under his direction.

“We were having an encounter, we call it a ‘freak off,'” she told the court. Reflecting on the first time such an incident occurred, she said, “I was 22 at the time, my stomach churned, didn’t have a concept of how that would be a turn on but I accepted the responsibility. I was confused, nervous, but also loved him very much and wanted to make him happy.”

She continued, “It wasn’t something that I wanted to be doing, especially as regularly as it became. But again, I was in love and wanted to make him happy. At some point, I felt I didn’t have much of a choice.”

Cassie emphasized the fear she lived in when it came to saying no: “I didn’t know what ‘No’ could turn into. I didn’t know if he would be upset enough to be violent or not want to be with me at all.”

Her testimony comes as Combs faces multiple federal charges, including sex trafficking. While the allegations have sent shockwaves through the entertainment world, Diddy has denied all claims against him.

As the trial continues, Cassie’s raw and powerful statements are expected to play a key role in the prosecution’s case.
