Jennifer Lopez has reportedly always harbored suspicions about her husband Ben Affleck’s relationship with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. A recent report from In Touch suggests that Lopez has never fully trusted the bond between the two, even after their marriage. According to the report, Lopez felt that there was always something lingering between Affleck and Garner.
An insider spoke to the publication, explaining that Lopez’s concerns were only heightened by the sight of Affleck and Garner spending time together as a “cozy happy family” in public. “Seeing them acting like this for the whole world to see has only made her even more sure she was right all along,” the source revealed, adding that Lopez felt validated in her suspicions.
The tensions between Lopez and Affleck’s relationship seem to have been further complicated by claims from another insider, who suggested that Affleck is attempting to win Garner back after his relationship with Lopez reportedly soured. “Ben is laying it on thick, he’s giving Jen so much of himself and his attention and being so charming,” the second source told the outlet.
As for Garner, the source mentioned that she appeared to be charmed by Affleck’s behavior, adding, “It’s very hard not to love him when he’s acting this way.” Despite the ongoing tensions, the source noted that many of their mutual friends believe that Affleck and Garner could rekindle their romance.
“A lot of people are predicting that they could end up back together,” the insider concluded. While Lopez and Affleck continue their married life, these new claims about his interactions with Garner and the potential for reconciliation have added fuel to the ongoing speculation surrounding the dynamics of their relationship.
