Jessica Biel is reportedly reaching a breaking point in her marriage to Justin Timberlake and is now prioritizing her own career over salvaging their relationship.
According to Star Magazine, the actress has “given up” trying to manage Timberlake’s public missteps after he allegedly lashed out at a crew member during England’s Lytham Festival. The outburst has reportedly pushed Biel to step back from her long-standing role as a peacemaker in their marriage.
“She’s done cleaning up Justin’s various messes or soothing his ego,” an insider told the outlet. “She expects him to do serious work on himself. The ball’s in his court.”
Biel’s renewed focus comes amid the success of The Better Sister, a project she both starred in and produced. Sources say that the professional high has inspired her to invest her energy in her own growth rather than trying to control her husband’s behavior.
The shift marks a notable contrast from earlier reports suggesting the couple was back on solid ground. Life & Style previously claimed Timberlake had been making amends, taking responsibility for past mistakes, and committing to lifestyle changes to win back Biel’s trust.
“He took responsibility and pledged to make a full-blown lifestyle change,” a source shared. “He stopped going out with single friends and cut way back on booze.”
The insider added that Timberlake’s efforts initially seemed to pay off, reigniting hope for the couple’s marriage. “He wanted a fresh start and in time, he won Jessica over and their marriage began to flourish again,” the source said.
However, Biel’s reported decision to “leave Justin to his antics” signals a possible turning point. The actress appears increasingly unwilling to shoulder the emotional burden of repairing their relationship without meaningful effort from Timberlake.
