Rumors are swirling that Hailey Bieber’s extravagant spending habits are causing strain in her marriage with Justin Bieber. Sources close to the couple revealed to the Daily Mail that Justin, 30, is “miserable” due to his wife’s lavish expenditures.
Hailey’s high spending includes frequent private jet flights and extravagant jewelry purchases, most notably a second engagement ring estimated at $1.5 million. Initially, Justin was opposed to buying the new ring. An insider claimed, “Justin was initially against [buying the new ring] and some people told him that it was awful of her to even ask for it,” adding that Hailey “told Justin that she had to have it to renew their vows. In the end, she got what she wanted.”
Hailey’s new 18-carat oval-cut diamond engagement ring complements her original 10-carat dazzler priced at $600,000. Both rings were showcased during their wedding vow renewal ceremony in Hawaii, where Hailey also revealed her pregnancy in May.
“Hailey is a serious high spender,” one insider noted. Her spending habits include shocking instances like taking a private jet solely to get her nails done by a specific manicurist. Tensions seemed evident in April when Justin posted a concerning selfie with tears streaming down his face. Additionally, Hailey’s father requested prayers for the couple in February, indicating underlying issues.
Justin’s financial challenges are apparent from his recent $10 million gig in India, where he performed at the pre-wedding festivities of business tycoon Anant Ambani’s son, despite his own $300 million net worth. More concerning is Justin’s decision to sell the rights to his lifetime music catalog of 291 songs for $200 million in 2023, reportedly at Hailey’s insistence. This sale means Justin will no longer receive royalties from his previous songs.
“Justin was advised against selling. Hailey played a part in convincing him to do it,” a source claimed. Since 2021, Justin has not released a new album and had to cancel his previous tour due to health concerns, including facial paralysis.
“He’s isolated from his friends and family. He’s miserable right now as Hailey has taken complete control over him. He has lost his identity, and creative drive and he is uninspired,” one insider alleged. Another source mentioned, “Hailey used to only want Justin to look hot. Now she likes him to look unkempt because then she thinks that girls will not flock to him.”
