Kanye West is reportedly at odds with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian over parenting decisions, alleging she has violated their joint custody agreement and his “parental rights.”
The Vultures rapper, who shares four children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm—with the SKIMS mogul, is said to be growing increasingly frustrated with how their kids are being raised under Kim’s care, particularly regarding their presence on social media.
According to RadarOnline, Kanye believes Kim has breached the joint custody agreement the pair established in 2022. A source told the outlet, “Kanye told Kim in no uncertain terms that he explicitly objects to the children being flaunted on social media platforms.”
The situation escalated after their eldest daughter, North West, appeared in social media posts related to the 2025 Met Gala. Though North didn’t attend the event itself, she posted photos and videos with Kim that Kanye reportedly saw as inappropriate, especially considering their daughter’s young age.
The insider added that Kanye is not only upset about North’s online presence but also claims he has been denied “meaningful access to his children.” Alarmingly, he alleges he’s had “no contact” with their son Saint throughout the entire year so far.
A second report backed up these claims, stating, “Kanye’s interactions with North, Chicago, and Psalm have been unreasonably restricted, which he believes is in violation of the custody agreement’s provisions for equal parental access and decision-making.”
This latest rift underscores the ongoing tension between the former couple, who finalized their divorce in late 2022. While both agreed to co-parent their children with equal rights, Kanye appears to believe that balance has been broken—particularly around the role of social media and public exposure.
Neither Kardashian nor West has made a public statement addressing the claims as of yet. However, sources suggest that Kanye is prepared to take legal action if the terms of their custody deal continue to be disregarded.
As fans watch the drama unfold, it’s clear that Kanye is determined to have a more active role in his children’s lives—and is drawing a hard line when it comes to how much of that life is broadcast to the world.
