Kourtney Kardashian is reportedly pulling further away from the Kardashian-Jenner spotlight, with sources claiming she believes her family’s obsession with fame has spiraled beyond control.
The Lemme founder, who tied the knot with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker in 2022, is said to be embracing a calmer, more grounded lifestyle that contrasts sharply with her sisters’ headline-driven approach to fame.
According to RadarOnline, Kourtney has made it clear she is no longer interested in being “part of the circus anymore.” A source explained, “She’s all for looking glam when the time is right, but she’s leaned into a much more low-key, grounded lifestyle since marrying Travis and becoming a mom again.”
The insider added that her focus has shifted entirely toward family and away from constant self-promotion. “Her priorities have totally shifted. She’s focusing on family – not worrying about how she looks on Instagram,” the source said. “She’s just over it and believes her sisters would be happier, too, if they followed her lead.”
The report claims that Kourtney now feels her sisters Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner need to step back and “actually live their real lives” rather than chasing attention.
Pointing to a recent high-profile family appearance, the source revealed that Kourtney was unimpressed when Kim, Khloe, and their mother Kris Jenner attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s lavish wedding in Italy. Kourtney, who chose not to attend, allegedly thought her family looked “ridiculous” as they competed for the spotlight.
“They’re constantly filming or getting ready to film or editing pictures from whatever they just filmed,” the insider continued. “It’s a narcissistic merry-go-round. It makes Kourtney sick.”
This shift in attitude also explains her distance from the family’s Hulu series, The Kardashians. While her sisters remain fully committed to documenting their personal and professional lives, Kourtney has reportedly taken a step back from the cameras.
“That’s why she’s taken a step back from The Kardashians,” the source said. “She has more important things to do with her precious time.”
Though Kourtney has long had a more complicated relationship with fame compared to her sisters, this latest chapter suggests she is now actively rejecting the family’s relentless pursuit of attention in favor of privacy, family life, and personal peace.
