Kris Jenner, the iconic matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, recently sparked conversations about marriage during a casual chat with friends. The 68-year-old reality star and business mogul has been in a long-term relationship with Corey Gamble since 2014, and while she’s not in a rush to walk down the aisle, she hasn’t ruled it out entirely.
During a recent episode of The Kardashians, Jenner was out shopping in Beverly Hills with her close friends, Faye Resnick and Kathy Hilton. The conversation took an unexpected turn from Jenner’s upcoming hysterectomy surgery to her relationship status. Hilton jokingly remarked, “I thought you were gonna tell me you’re getting married!” Jenner playfully responded, “I mean, not right this very second!”
Hilton then teased about being ready for an early morning wedding, to which Jenner quickly added, “Dressed and ready to go as a bridesmaid. I mean, you guys can totally be bridesmaids when I get married. So maybe when I’m 70!”
This lighthearted exchange has fans buzzing about the possibility of Jenner tying the knot in the near future. With her 69th birthday approaching in November, a wedding at 70 doesn’t seem too far-fetched. Jenner and Gamble’s relationship began in August 2014, after they met at a birthday party in Ibiza for fashion designer Riccardo Tisci. Since then, the couple has maintained a steady relationship, choosing to keep much of their romance private.
However, they do make public appearances together, including red-carpet events, and even sent out a joint holiday card in 2022. Jenner has consistently spoken highly of Gamble in various interviews, describing him as “the greatest guy” and “an amazing support system.” She praised his role in her life, saying, “He really gives me a lot of strength and insight. He’s a great sounding board.
And he loves my kids and my mom, and they love him.” In a 2022 interview, Jenner further emphasized Gamble’s importance, saying, “I think Corey is super. He’s an amazing guy. He’s really supportive and he’s really dialed into a lot of the different things. He’s such a great person to bounce things off of. I really love his point of view on things,” as reported by People.
Despite the 25-year age gap between them, Jenner shared that Gamble helped her see beyond their age difference. “I used to say to Corey all the time when I first started dating him why do you want to date somebody who is older than you? I didn’t get the age gap and then he taught me that age is just a number,” she said, according to Brides.
Jenner, who has been married twice before, reflected on the possibility of marrying again during a 2018 podcast appearance on Divorce Sucks, saying, “You know, you never say never, but I often say it’s just not what I think I need to do again based on my past.” However, with her recent comments, fans are left wondering if Jenner might change her mind as she approaches 70.
