Megan Fox is opening up about a deeply personal moment in her life, revealing she was six weeks pregnant while filming her latest series, Overcompensating. The 39-year-old actress shared the news with fans through a candid Instagram story, calling the pregnancy “unplanned but a happy surprise.”
Fox, who has three children—Noah, Bodhi, and Journey—with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, and now a daughter with her former fiancé Machine Gun Kelly, reflected on the experience while promoting the Amazon Prime Video series.
Reposting a clip from Overcompensating, Fox wrote, “38 years old six weeks pregnant (unplanned but a happy surprise). Please stop listening to the patriarchy. Women are eternal light beings. We do not have an expiration date. Don’t let them rob you of your power. Anyway…watch @overcompensating.”
The actress gave birth to her fourth child on March 27, 2025, with Machine Gun Kelly, 35, announcing the news with an emotional Instagram post. The musician, known for hits like “Home,” shared a black-and-white video and captioned it, “She’s finally here!! Our little celestial seed 3/27/25.”
Fox and Kelly, who began dating in 2020 and got engaged in January 2022, ended their relationship in November 2024. Despite the split, the couple appeared to have remained close throughout her pregnancy and the birth of their daughter.
Overcompensating, a comedy series created and directed by Benito Skinner, premiered on May 15 on Amazon Prime Video. The show marks a notable return to television for Fox, who is best known for her roles in Transformers and Jennifer’s Body.

Fans have praised Fox not just for her performance in the series, but also for her honesty and empowering message to women. Her statement about age and pregnancy quickly went viral, with many celebrating her refusal to conform to societal pressures about motherhood and aging.
With her latest role and heartfelt revelation, Megan Fox continues to defy expectations—on screen and off—reminding the world that women, at any age, are capable of creating, leading, and thriving.
