Meghan Markle Reportedly Unhappy in Royal Marriage

Meghan Markle is reportedly reconsidering her marriage to Prince Harry, expressing frustration over unmet financial expectations and his attempts to reconnect with the royal family, according to a report by Radar Online.

Sources close to the Duchess of Sussex claim she has confided in friends about her disappointment, believing Prince Harry has failed to provide the level of wealth and lifestyle she desires. “Harry has cash from his memoir Spare and an inheritance, but Meghan wants to be in the billionaire club,” an insider revealed.

The alleged discontent also stems from Harry’s recent public comments expressing his hope for a reconciliation with the royal family. In a recent interview, he said, “I love my country. I always have done. Despite what some people in that country have done. I miss the UK, of course I do. I think that it’s really quite sad that I won’t be able to show my children my homeland.”

This stance reportedly clashes with Meghan’s own views, as she remains opposed to any form of royal rapprochement. Additionally, the couple continues to face challenges in the U.K., where Harry recently lost his High Court appeal against the Home Office regarding his security.

As a result, he’ll receive police protection only on a case-by-case basis, rather than the full-time personal security he previously enjoyed. The insider claimed Meghan wants “full security protection if she decides to pop over to the U.K. – but doesn’t want to pay for it.”

Professionally, Meghan is said to be modeling her post-royal ambitions after wellness mogul Gwyneth Paltrow, aiming to elevate her own brand to similar financial heights. “She sees herself as a copycat of Gwyneth Paltrow with the new wellness brand she’s launched, and wants to end up with her firm valued in the billions just like Gwyneth’s,” the source added.

The couple, who share two children—Archie, six, and Lilibet, three—married in 2018 and stepped down as senior working royals in 2020. They now reside in Montecito, California. Despite the public image of unity, the insider concluded, “She thought she’d married her prince – but it seems he’s turned back into a frog for her as he just can’t give her the level of riches she wants.”
