Prince Harry has reportedly made a shocking admission to his wife, Meghan Markle, revealing that their current lifestyle of pursuing separate professional projects is no longer working for him. According to a new report, the Duke of Sussex shared his frustrations with Meghan, admitting that he is struggling with the emotional strain of their current situation. The couple, who sparked divorce rumors after making solo public appearances for much of last year, were said to be planning to continue with this strategy.
However, a source close to the couple shared insights into their marital life, revealing that Harry’s desire to reconcile with his family is putting added pressure on their relationship. Speaking to Heat Magazine, the insider explained, “On the surface of it all, Meghan and Harry are doing their best to laugh off rumors that things are not exactly rock solid between them.
But the truth is, the life they’re living now isn’t what either of them had imagined from the beginning.” The source further elaborated that Harry has expressed to Meghan that “things are not working for him,” with the major issue being the ongoing conflict with his family. “The major sticking point remains the mess he’s made with his family – which is difficult now that he’s taking accountability for it, while Meghan still puts the blame firmly on them,” the insider said.
While Meghan is supportive of Harry’s wish to reconcile with King Charles and other family members, she remains reluctant to return to the UK. “She will not even consider going back to the UK or bending over to apologize,” the source added.
Despite Meghan’s stance, Harry is feeling increasing pressure from his close friends, who are worried about his emotional wellbeing. “They can tell he has a strong desire to make amends in any way that he can with his father and brother, but his new life in the US is holding him back from that,” the source said.
