Prince Harry has once again ignited controversy within the royal family, appearing to accuse King Charles of leaking private information to the media.
According to royal expert Reilly Sullivan, the Duke of Sussex is setting strict conditions before he would even consider reconciling with his father. Speaking to GB News, Sullivan revealed that Harry has drawn up a list of demands that must be met ahead of any potential meeting with King Charles during his upcoming visit to the UK.
At the top of that list is Harry’s insistence that his privacy be safeguarded. “Harry wants guarantees that his privacy will be protected,” Sullivan explained, before hinting at Harry’s suspicion that the leaks may be originating from inside palace walls. “I don’t know about that. I mean, kind of maybe implying that, you know, Charles would be doing the leaking.”
The royal commentator went further, claiming Harry may even suspect his father personally of passing information to the press. “I think that if anyone is leaking to the media and betraying privacy, I don’t know. I think the call’s coming from inside the house. Absolutely,” Sullivan said.
The demand for privacy is just one of three conditions Harry is said to have outlined. The other two reportedly include full official security for both himself and Meghan Markle during any UK visits, and for the couple to be treated once again as full members of the royal family.
These fresh claims come as tensions between the Duke and King Charles remain at an all-time high. Since stepping back from royal duties in 2020 and relocating to California, Harry has repeatedly spoken out against what he describes as betrayals of trust within the royal institution. His accusations, including those made in his memoir Spare and in televised interviews, have further strained his already fragile relationship with the monarch.
While the Palace has yet to comment on these latest allegations, Sullivan’s remarks underscore the deep mistrust Harry feels toward the royal establishment. His suggestion that King Charles himself could be behind leaks to the media represents one of the most pointed accusations yet in the long-running family rift.
With Harry’s reported demands on the table, questions remain over whether any reconciliation with King Charles is truly possible or if the divide within the royal family is now beyond repair.
