Donald Trump’s sons, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., have unveiled their family’s latest business endeavor Trump Mobile, a new mobile phone service that combines wireless connectivity with healthcare access through telemedicine, plus a range of other perks.
Speaking at a launch event on Monday, Don Jr. introduced the project as a comprehensive lifestyle package for consumers.
“And so with Trump Mobile, we’re going to be introducing an entire package of products,” he said, “that people can come, they can get telemedicine on their phone for one flat monthly fee, roadside assistance in their cars, unlimited texting to 100 countries around the world, and we’ve partnered with some of the best to really bring something unique to the American people.”
Alongside the standard wireless service, Trump Mobile will offer devices reportedly manufactured in the United States. Pat O’Brien, who helped present the initiative, noted that this venture goes beyond just selling mobile plans.
“From the standpoint of the products themselves and what we’re going to be providing, we’re not only going to be doing wireless service,” O’Brien explained. “We are going to be doing phones that we are going to build in America.”
One of the more notable features of the offering is its built-in telemedicine platform. Don Hendrickson, who is collaborating with the Trumps on the rollout, emphasized the convenience of 24/7 doctor access.
“You make a call to a doctor that’s available to you 24/7 365,” Hendrickson said. “That doctor can write you a prescription. You can take that prescription to CVS, have that prescription filled out, supplied for you all at no additional cost.”
The company also claims it will include phone repair services and manufacture its own devices domestically. Hendrickson reaffirmed, “Devices offered by the company would be made here in the USA.”
Eric Trump hinted that the mobile project is part of a larger technological expansion for the Trump business empire.
“We’re also spending a lot of time in the technology field,” he said. “What we’ve done in crypto, I think we’ve got the greatest projects in crypto, and more and more, our company is evolving into various sectors. And, you know, but there is kind of a key to that, and that is America, right?”
Despite the promises, the team did not provide details on how users’ private medical data will be protected.
