Investigative reporters have uncovered an unusual twist in the search for the origins of former President Donald Trump’s so-called “Swiss-made” watch. Instead of Switzerland, the trail led to a Wyoming shopping center home to anonymous businesses, including a retailer of “Male Enhancement” honey laced with Viagra.
CNN’s investigation into the $100,000 Trump-branded watch revealed connections to TheBestWatchesOnEarth LLC, a company registered in Wyoming, as well as the Royal Honey Shop, which markets its products as The Best Honey On Earth LLC on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
The Royal Honey Shop sells various products like Royal Honey VIP, Black Bull Honey, and Hard Steel Honey, which promise “instant vigor with a single sachet.” The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has warned against consuming certain Royal Honey products due to their inclusion of sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra, which could dangerously interact with other medications.
“A spokesperson for the honey seller, Vladimir Dmitriev, called it ‘a highly reputable company,’ but declined to respond to a list of questions,” CNN reported. Dmitriev added, “We’ve received direction from our leadership in the US not to engage with any news agencies (specifically CNN) until after November 5th,” which coincides with Election Day.
Despite the Royal Honey Shop’s refusal to answer questions, CNN linked Trump’s watch to TheBestWatchesOnEarth LLC, a company that shares the same Wyoming address as the honey retailer. This company is also involved in selling Trump-themed sneakers through a licensing agreement with the former president.
Investigative reporters Steve Contorno and Scott Glover were unable to find any documentation directly linking Trump to the Royal Honey Shop. When pressed about any ties between Trump and the honey retailer, a representative for the company said, “We cannot provide any information or details at this time.”
Both TheBestWatchesOnEarth and the Royal Honey Shop are registered in Wyoming and share an organizer specializing in setting up anonymous companies to protect personal information. That organizer, Andrew Pierce, is involved with thousands of businesses around the world. His company’s chief marketing officer, Carol Mendelsohn, confirmed they are the registered agents for some Trump-related businesses but emphasized they work with over 100,000 entities globally.
Mark Pierce, Andrew’s father and business partner, denied personal knowledge of Trump connections. “If Mr. Trump or anyone in his family were on the same side of the street I was on,” he told CNN, “I would cross the street.”
