Prince William and Kate Middleton are poised to join the royal family at Balmoral Castle, following King Charles III’s arrival for his summer retreat. The King has commenced his traditional summer stay at the iconic Scottish residence, and the Prince and Princess of Wales are expected to arrive soon to spend quality time with the family.

The first royals to join King Charles at Balmoral were Duchess Sophie and Prince Edward. Now, Prince William and Kate, who are currently in Norfolk with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, are planning to make the journey to Scotland. The family is set to enjoy a week of activities and relaxation at the late Queen’s cherished retreat, told Daily Record.

Princess Kate, who has been undergoing chemotherapy, recently took her children to a Nerf gun party at the Gone Wild Festival at Holkham Hall. This outing marked her first significant travel since her cancer diagnosis, having received medical approval to attend the event. The Duchess’s participation in the festival highlights her resilience and commitment to maintaining normalcy for her family despite her health challenges.

King Charles’s arrival at Balmoral Castle on Monday was marked by a formal ceremony. The 75-year-old monarch was greeted with customary royal hospitality as he began his summer break. Notably, King Charles encountered a mischievous mascot at the castle, a playful nod to past incidents that had amused his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II.

After a demanding period of managing cancer treatment, both King Charles and Princess Kate are looking forward to a well-deserved holiday. The time at Balmoral offers them a chance to unwind and enjoy the serene Scottish landscape, reflecting a temporary respite from their demanding schedules and health challenges.
