“Gone in a Flash”: Prince William Reportedly Concerned About Prince Harry’s Inheritance

Prince William is reportedly anxious about how his brother, Prince Harry, will manage the substantial inheritance he is set to receive on his 40th birthday next month. According to OK! Magazine, the Prince of Wales is particularly worried that Harry’s “lavish” lifestyle in the United States with his wife, Meghan Markle, could lead to the inheritance being “gone in a flash.”

The Duke of Sussex is expected to inherit a significant sum from a trust established by the Queen Mother. As this milestone birthday approaches, concerns are mounting within the royal family about how Harry will handle this newfound wealth, especially given his current lifestyle.

“He [Prince William] has seen the lavish life they live, so he has no doubt the money will be gone in a flash,” a source told the magazine. The source indicates that William’s concerns are rooted in the extravagant way Harry and Meghan have been living since relocating to America, where they have been building their brand and making high-profile deals.

The future King’s worries are not just about the financial implications but also about the underlying reasons that led Harry to make the decisions he has. According to an insider, William believes that Meghan Markle played a significant role in Harry’s departure from royal duties and their subsequent move to America.

“Never in a million years would he have predicted his brother would abandon his duties and swan off to America to try and build himself as this Hollywood celebrity, so he thinks Meghan is behind it,” the source revealed. This sentiment reflects the deep divide that has grown between the once-close brothers, fueled by their differing views on royal life and personal freedom.

The idea that Harry might squander his inheritance after distancing himself from the royal family is particularly troubling for William. “The idea of Harry squandering his inheritance after turning up his nose at the family and his commitment to the crown is beyond the pale for William,” the source added.

As Harry’s 40th birthday approaches, the tension between the two brothers seems poised to deepen. William’s concerns highlight the ongoing rift within the royal family, one that has only grown since Harry and Meghan’s departure from their official duties. Whether Harry will heed his brother’s unspoken warnings or continue on his current path remains to be seen.
