Kanye West has spoken out for the first time following serious allegations made by his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, who has accused him of sexual harassment and stalking. Pisciotta, a social media influencer and former OnlyFans star, worked for West from 2021 to 2022 and has made shocking claims in a lawsuit that she filed in June.
In the lawsuit, Pisciotta alleges that West subjected her to extreme sexual harassment, which includes rape, disturbing fantasies, inappropriate texts, and groping. The claims paint a troubling picture of the working relationship between West and Pisciotta, particularly during a trip to San Francisco when West was working on his Donda album in July 2021. The lawsuit details several incidents, including one at a party attended by Sean “P Diddy” Combs.
Pisciotta claims that during this trip, West attempted to rape her in her hotel room. She recounts a disturbing incident where West allegedly knocked on her door at 6 AM, claiming he needed to shower in her room. According to the lawsuit, he emerged from the bathroom wearing only a towel, which he then dropped before pushing her onto the bed.
“Ye then stepped onto the bed and stood tall, straddling himself over [Pisciotta’s] body and looking down on her [Pisciotta], in a shocked state, somewhat braced herself for what might happen next,” the lawsuit states. Pisciotta claims she repeatedly pleaded with West to stop, saying, “I don’t want to do this.” Eventually, she alleges that West became annoyed, apologized, and assured her it wouldn’t happen again.
West’s representative has initially responded to these allegations by calling them “baseless.” Despite the seriousness of the claims, he has maintained that the accusations lack merit.
Recently, West posted a cryptic photo on social media of himself standing in front of a white wall, dressed in baggy pants and a hoodie, with his face partially covered. The image, while seemingly innocuous, has led to further speculation about his state of mind amidst the ongoing controversy.
