Amber Rose isn’t holding back when it comes to her ex-boyfriend Kanye West and his influence over his partners’ fashion choices. The American model and TV personality recently weighed in on Kanye’s ongoing drama and his controversial styling of his current wife, Bianca Censori.
During an appearance on Club Shay Shay, Amber claimed that Kanye, who now goes by Ye, has a pattern of dressing the women he dates— including Kim Kardashian and Bianca— in provocative outfits to attract male attention.
“Kanye is for sure dressing her like that. He did the same thing to me and Kim,” the 41-year-old star stated while discussing Bianca’s daring look at the Grammys.
“He wants other men to want his woman. He likes that men are drooling over her,” she added.
Amber, who dated Kanye from 2008 to 2010, also opened up about her discomfort with his fashion influence during their relationship. She revealed that she secretly swapped out outfits when he wasn’t around, opting for baggy clothes instead.
“I hated dressing like that,” she admitted. “I cried.”
The media influencer recalled heated arguments with the rapper over her wardrobe choices, sharing: “I remember arguing with him and saying, ‘I don’t f**** want to wear this.’ But he told me, ‘You don’t understand, it’s fashion, I’m a genius.’”
Despite their breakup over a decade ago, Amber noted that Kanye has continued to mention her in public, but she has refused to retaliate by exposing his secrets for attention.
Even as Ye’s latest fashion controversies make headlines, Amber remains firm in her stance, shedding light on her past experiences while standing by her own truth.
