The Sun reported that Simpson, dressed in a leopard print coat, sunglasses, and gold jewelry, was notably missing her engagement ring, which Johnson proposed to her in 2010, and her wedding band from their 2014 ceremony.
This isn’t the first time Simpson has been seen without her wedding ring. In fact, similar incidents have sparked split rumors in the past. In September, she posted pictures of her children’s first day back to school, again without wearing her ring. More recently, she skipped publicly acknowledging her husband’s birthday, opting instead to post photos with their three children: Maxwell Drew, 12, Ace Knute, 11, and Birdie Mae, 5.

The clip, originally shared by singer Tyrese, featured a preacher discussing the topic of forgiveness. The preacher stated, “Forgiveness doesn’t change the person who hurt you. Are you listening to me?” The video continued with the preacher explaining, “Forgiveness does not mean you forget… but you do have the opportunity to forgive every time you remember.” The message concluded with a warning about the dangers of refusing to forgive, suggesting that holding onto resentment is like imprisoning oneself.
Simpson’s decision to share this video on such a significant day only deepened speculation about trouble in her marriage. While neither Simpson nor Johnson has publicly addressed the rumors, this year’s Valentine’s Day also sparked concern when Simpson posted photos without her wedding ring, weeks before the holiday.
However, sources close to the couple suggest that Simpson removing her ring doesn’t necessarily mean a divorce is imminent.
