According to recent reports, Prince William has serious concerns about his brother Prince Harry’s ability to make sound decisions, particularly when it comes to royal duties and responsibilities. An unnamed source has revealed that William has essentially “shut the door” on Harry and feels there is little hope for reconciliation at the moment.
In a conversation with EconoTimes, the anonymous insider claimed that William believes Harry’s decision-making skills are severely lacking. “William doesn’t think Harry has the smarts to handle even a reduced role in the Firm,” the source explained. The future king reportedly feels that Harry is not only incapable of handling royal duties but is also misguided by poor advice.
The source went further, stating, “In other words, he thinks his brother is stupid and foolishly adheres to bad advice.” This blunt assessment reportedly ties into William’s astonishment at Harry’s “gullibility,” especially when it comes to his relationship with Meghan Markle. According to the insider, William is “astonished” by what he views as his brother’s susceptibility to his wife’s influence, referring to her as a “conniving wife.”
The report adds that there are individuals around Prince William who have encouraged him to let bygones be bygones and at least hear out Harry’s perspective. However, the Prince of Wales appears resolute in his stance. “A lot of people around William think he should let bygones be bygones and at least listen to what Harry has to say, but the future king is dead set against it,” the source revealed.
Initially, William believed that Harry’s actions were driven by defiance, a desire to rebel against the royal family and their duties. However, the source claims that over time, William has come to believe that his brother simply lacks the mental capacity to make good decisions and handle the complexities of royal life. “At first, William thought it was defiance that made his brother want to strike out against him and the rest of the royal family, but now he truly believes Harry simply doesn’t have the mental capacity to make good decisions and handle the responsibilities of royal life.”
While these reports remain speculative, they shed light on the deep tensions between the two brothers. Prince Harry’s departure from royal duties, coupled with his public remarks about the royal family, have strained relations with Prince William. Whether or not the brothers will reconcile remains uncertain, but for now, it seems William is in no hurry to make amends.
